The Triton - Connected HMI concept also showcases the value of off-board connectivity and devices, allowing a personalized in-car experience by using a mobile device as the authentication to AT&T Drive cloud platform, that delivers personal data and preferences to the onboard systems.
"The digital user experience in the car has become a key buying criteria for the consumer. With the number of screens increasing, OEMs need to make sure that the user experience is seamless across all screens in the car. Our Triton - Connected HMI concept showcases the development that you'll see in cars during the next few years and demonstrates how innovation speed can be accelerated using the same design tools from rapid prototyping to mass production. Already more than 10 leading OEMs globally are using Kanzi for production projects" said Jonas Geust, CEO, Rightware.
