OctaFX and Southampton FC Aim to Advance in European Competitions

LONDON, August 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --

OctaFX UK Limited, a global FX retail broker, started their support of Southampton Football Club earlier this year by entering into a partnership agreement. From the kick-off, the partnership announcement was immediately followed by a fundraising event for the Saints Foundation; which is an independent charity aligned to Southampton Football Club. The OctaFX shooting challenge, involving Southampton players Jay Rodriguez, Kelvin Davis and Sam Gallagher, raised GBP3000 for the Saints Foundation.

The breakthrough of Southampton Football Club into the UEFA Europa League can only enhance the European presence of OctaFX, which positions itself at the heart of the retail FX trading industry.

OctaFX has prepared a promotion for English Premier League fans; The Southampton Score Prediction Contest was launched on Facebook at the start of the 2015/16 Premier League season. For the duration of the 2015/16 Premier League season, OctaFX will be giving away the prize of two tickets to the next home game of Southampton Football Club to the winner of each instalment of the contest.

"We consider Southampton Football Club as one of the most successful, aspiring and resourceful clubs in the English Premier League. The club had great results in the past season, and we hope to help the Saints fulfil their potential in all fields, both at home and overseas during this Premier League season and while competing in the Europa League.

We are proud to be involved in this partnership, and hope we can invest in assisting Southampton's success and be a part of their future."
