SolunoBC Prepares for the Future with a New Chairman

GÖTEBORG, Sweden, September 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --

SolunoBC strengthens the Board with the appointment of Patrik Sorqvist, who becomes the new Chairman.

The company has a strong position and has achieved strong growth on the Swedish UCaaS market (Unified Communications as a Service).

Soluno's ambition is to continue the international expansion. During this expansion, Patrik Sorqvist has the role of broadening the company's expertise and experience using his network of contacts and his experience of the industry.

Patrik Sorqvist has over 20 years international experience of telecoms and cloud services. He was Vice President Cloud for the European, Middle Eastern and African markets at Mitel until June this year. Previously in his career, he had the role of CEO at Telepo, a leading Swedish software company for communications solutions, which was sold to Mitel in 2014. Prior to that he worked as Vice President Engineering at Global IP Solutions, a company that developed software for processing audio and video in real time and that was sold to Google. Patrik Sorqvist has also held different posts within Ericsson.

His contacts, knowledge, enthusiasm and vast experience of the industry will be invaluable as Soluno continues to expand its business.

Gustav Ecorcheville, Investment Director of SEB Private Equity:

- "Via SEB Private Equity's global and local networks we have searched for suitable
independent board members who can help SolunoBC to grow internationally and on our
home market. The result was two people, both with previous experience within
Telepo/Mitel. Olle Hillstrom is already on the Board and now Patrik Sorqvist joins as
Chairman. We are convinced that with their help the company will be able to take the
next steps following the amalgamation of Solus and Uno. With Patrik Sorqvist's
experience of growing companies, and knowledge of international expansion from Telepo
and Mitel, Soluno will be able to both extend and refine its range of services within
UCaaS, both domestically and internationally. And the journey has already started,
with strong growth for the business in Denmark."

Mattias Ohde, CEO at SolunoBC:

- "With Patrik Sorqvist as the new Chairman, SolunoBC will develop into an even
stronger telecommunications company, imbued with customer orientated growth, but with
a clear international strategy moving forward."

Patrik Sorqvist, new Chairman of SolunoBC:

- "I am delighted for the opportunity to work for SolunoBC. They have a fantastic
team and a compelling offer within Cloud PBX, which will help companies both within
Sweden and overseas to communicate effectively. I was already impressed by Solus and
Uno individually before the merger, particularly by how they developed their positions
in the market as it moved from the early adopter-phase to becoming a mature market."
