The listed German company is acquiring all of KEONYS' shares.
The two entities merged within the CENIT Group will become Dassault Systèmes' first world partner. The pooling of their expertise will also enable them to establish themselves as Europe's first player in the popularization and deployment of Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE(R) platform.
The CENIT Group has more than 650 employees and 17 agencies located in eight countries (on three continents). The Group supports companies with the deployment of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Information Management (EIM) solutions. KEONYS is joining and integrating the CENIT Group's PLM division.
KEONYS is particularly recognized for its expertise in engineering, digital simulation and robotics, while CENIT has established itself in the areas of production and the connected factory. The strength of both entities is their active involvement in the digital transformation of companies through the modernization of production tools, known as "Industry of the Future" in France and "Industry 4.0." in Germany.
There are major ambitions for this joining of forces: to bring together the competencies of both companies in order to respond to larger scale projects, whatever the industry involved, on a potentially enlarged market. They will be able to benefit from increased proximity to their 3000 active customers thanks to more extensive geographic coverage . KEONYS will now also be able to distribute all the solutions developed by CENIT.
The companies will also benefit from a single point of entry for all services: consulting, integration, maintenance, assistance, training.
The Group aims to increase its market share, develop its range of solutions and consolidate its position of dominance on French, European and international markets, with the objective of achieving consolidated sales of 120 million euros by the end of 2017, with more than 350 PLM experts.
"Bringing together our skills and competencies will enable us to diversify our areas of expertise, pool our ideas in pursuit of a shared vision of corporate digital transformation and establish ourselves in the world as a major actor in the Industry of the Future," explains Isabelle Yung-Lafargue, President of KEONYS.
"Our vision is that of a stronger group, better able to respond to the needs of its customers and strategic partners. By continuing to place the customer at the heart of our concerns, we will be able to establish our position as an international leader," adds Kurt Bengel, CEO of CENIT AG.
